C2P is a tool conceived by business-focused lawyers. It is built to support clear interpretation and communication with stakeholders and to give lawyers better tools for informing business units. For instance, if a section of a proposed law impacts an important business activity, or does so in a way that provides competitive advantage, C2P allows lawyers to create impact ‘points’ for each activity, enter their comments about it, and easily find their comments when needed.
When laws are amended—for example, when an exemption that business units rely on comes to an end, which can affect an entire category of products—lawyers can, as never before, help implement a competitive positioning strategy. |
Gain faster time-to-knowledge
As the number of global regulations keeps increasing and keeping lawyers busier than ever, C2P gives lawyers faster time-to-knowledge and makes it easier to manage their tasks. A single click in C2P lets users know that a term in a law is not defined, and then links them directly to other legal texts where the term is defined. Links also provide commentary from C&R’s network of data partners, as well as placeholders for lawyers to add their own comments.
Ensure data privacy
C2P is also designed to ensure that attorney-client privileged issues, tasks, comments and attachments can be locked away, and that confidential documents in C2P can be securely stamped and tagged.
