Apart from industrial and vehicle batteries, the draft law applies to all batteries and accumulators, including batteries and accumulators in electrical and electronic equipment

A producer may comply with their obligations under the draft law by:

1. Setting up their own individual management system for waste batteries and accumulators

Funding for the collection and management of waste batteries and accumulators shall be borne by the producers according to the management system used.

Producers are also required to place the separate collection symbol on the outer surface of the batteries and accumulators placed on the market.
