Purpose:
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for owning the corporate website and all associated social & digital channels. Their main focus will be website management as well as planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, consisting of Email, SEO/PPC and social media. This person will own & drive our online presence and build the Compliance & Risks brand online.
The DMM works with Demand and Campaign Specialists to execute campaigns that deliver qualified leads to the business and with Marketing Operations to track & measure the effectiveness of campaign activity online.
The DMM will advise the marketing and Go to Market teams on the best digital channels and tactics to use in order to achieve our MQL goals. They will also act as a digital evangelist updating the team on the latest Google updates and other relevant industry
Responsibilities:
- KRA1: Website Management
- Website Development & SEO
- Own the development plan of the website to build new pages, content and functionality
- Ensure WordPress updates are managed on an ongoing basis
- Website Development & SEO
- Content Management
- Work with Product Marketing, Demand and Brand/Comms teams to create content calendar & update messaging based on agreed campaign activity
- Management and optimization of content across the Corporate Website.
- Develop a website traffic plan and create goals to meet
- Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability
- Maintain effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging
- Update and manage company blog, e-newsletter, and social media (including regular posts, news, job listings, etc.)
- KRA 2: Digital Channel Management
- Work with key business stakeholders to devise the following plans & execute on them:
- Social Media – including Linked, Instagram, YouTube and others
- Paid Search – including Google Ads, LinkedIn & Bing
- Software Review Sites such as G2, Capterra & Sourceforge
- SEO/SEM – keyword strategy and analysis to feed into content marketing strategy
- Email – email nurtures, email newsletter & all email platforms
- Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing calendar
- KRA 3: Digital Campaign Management
- Support Campaign Strategy with landing page creation, email design & content promotion via relevant channels
- Optimise website content & user flows to ensure high volume of Inbound Leads & Book a Demo requests on the website
- Work with SEO agency to seed content online
- KRA 4: ROI & Reporting
- Measure and report on the performance/ROI of all digital marketing activities and the website
- Management of analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required
- 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing
- Preferably based in Cork
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS ideal
- Solid understanding of PPC, SEO & SEM
- Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
- Experience with website analytics tools
- Ability to zoom out and connect the day-to-day work to our larger mission
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords & LinkedIn Paid campaigns
- Analytical thinker able to get to the bottom of complex issues, draft, test, and optimize solutions while taking care of the day-to-day operative tasks and responsibilities
