Compliance & Risks is looking for an experienced, gifted and passionate Marketing Operations Leader.

The Marketing Operations leader enables the department to operate efficiently and deliver the desired business outcomes through people, processes, technology, and data. Marketing operations serves as a core function for marketing, providing cross-functional coordination, communications, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Project & Programme Planning & Management

  • Manage complex digital projects to clearly defined success metrics
  • Any campaign planning, cross-tactical execution planning, budget setting, and performance review meetings will include the Marketing Operations Leader so that projects are managed and people in Marketing are collaborating
  • Define the marketing objectives for each campaign
  • Advise campaign managers on builds, segmentation, and personas
  • Ensure campaigns meet standard processes and quality standards
  • Marketing operations will have a full view of the marketing calendar and ensure that it is working cohesively with business targets
  • Manage the flow and completion of the internal requests to marketing from stakeholders, e.g. sales people, product requests, HR
  • Manage the capacity within the Marketing team

End-To-End Creative Process Management

  • Responsible for governing the various marketing processes for everyone to follow so that marketing programmes are executed effectively
  • Review and update existing processes
  • Design and create new operating processes
  • Manage the review and approval process of marketing materials to ensure compliance to regulations and good governance

Marketing Technology Infrastructure

  • Marketing Operations manages the multiple marketing platforms, such as the website, eCommerce solution, HubSpot,, content management system, plus the integration with related technologies
  • Ensure marketing data is being properly collected and connected with other systems such as a CRM
  • Oversee the technology for AdWords, product analytics, A/B testing, social media, and ABM marketing to ensure alignment across the business
  • Actively involved in the evaluation and selection of new software to streamline processes and improve performance across departments

Marketing Data And Analytics

  • The Marketing Operations team is responsible for developing the marketing data strategy so that marketing as a whole has the necessary insights to build high-performing campaigns
  • Help drive closed loop reporting from leads to revenue to measure ROI by campaign, product, vertical and source
  • Check the analytics, reporting, and team dashboards to measure the effectiveness of each channel and the overall performance of the marketing program
  • Manage data cleansing and research new ways to enrich the data
  • Manage spend vs. budget reporting for projects, including ROI reporting on activities

Prior Experience and Qualifications:

  • An analytics or systems background is highly desirable
  • 8 -10 years experience in a related role, 4 of which in a senior Marketing Operations role
  • Accurate, systematic, and methodical
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks and projects
  • Makes an excellent team player and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Numerate, with the ability to produce reports and derive valuable insights and analysis for the business as a whole
  • Experienced in managing analytics, reporting, and team dashboards to measure the effectiveness of the marketing channels
  • Experience optimizing marketing processes
  • Project Management Skills
