Taiwan Consolidated Requirement on Energy Efficiency Labeling

energy_efficiency_regulationsTaiwan has announced new energy efficiency labeling and inspection requirements, as well as a minimum energy performance standard for ice-warm-hot (IWH) and warm-hot (WH) drinking water machines.

Importers or manufacturers of WH or IWH will have to attach an energy efficiency grade label to a visible location at the front of the product or on the instruction book. All sample products displayed at showrooms or in retail stores should display energy efficiency grade labeling as well as pictures of IWH or WH drinking machines.

Both requirements will enter into force on January 1st, 2018.
