C&R Corporate Sustainability Scholarship
At Compliance & Risks (C&R), we believe that corporate sustainability is not only about meeting today’s needs, but shaping a future where businesses thrive in harmony with society and the environment. Tomorrow’s leaders will be those who can balance profitability with responsibility, innovation with ethics, and growth with stewardship of our planet. The Compliance & Risks Corporate Sustainability Scholarship supports undergraduates who aspire to lead in corporate sustainability and ESG strategy.
Scholarship Award
- Amount: $5,000
- Number of Awards: 1
- Use of Funds: May be applied toward tuition, fees, books, or other educational expenses
- Disbursement: Funds will be sent directly to the student’s university or, where necessary, directly to the student
Timeline
- Application Opens: October 15, 2025
- Application Deadline: April 15, 2026
- Review Period: April 15, 2026 – May 15, 2026
- Winner Notified: June 1, 2026
- Funds Disbursed: July 1, 2026 (before Fall 2026 tuition deadlines)
- Public Announcement: Summer 2026 (via Compliance & Risks blog and social media)
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to undergraduate students enrolled full-time at accredited 4-year colleges and universities in the United States. We especially encourage applications from students pursuing majors in the following areas:
Business & Management
- Business Administration (with Sustainability or ESG focus)
- Accounting (with sustainability reporting or audit focus)
- Finance (sustainable finance / ESG investing)
- Economics (environmental or resource economics)
Law, Policy & Governance
- Public Policy (environmental or sustainability concentration)
- Political Science (governance or regulatory focus)
- International Relations (global sustainability and governance)
Sustainability Leadership
- Sustainability Management / Corporate Sustainability
- Environmental Policy & Management
- Interdisciplinary Sustainability Studies (with business/governance orientation)
Note: If your program is closely related to these fields but has a different title, we still encourage you to apply.
How to Apply
- Complete the online application form. (Coming October 15th, 2025).
- Upload your single PDF application package before April 15, 2026
- Only complete applications submitted by the deadline will be considered
Review & Selection
- Applications will be screened for eligibility by C&R staff
- A selection committee will review and score applications using a standardized rubric
- The winner will be chosen based on academic achievement, vision, leadership potential, and passion for corporate sustainability
