Luisa recently joined the GRC team as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. Prior to joining Compliance & Risks, Luisa worked in overseeing the lifecycles of various projects and their outcomes, conducting one-on-one client consultations in R&D and product assessment, evaluating consumer product labeling for the North American market, supervising all regulatory compliance for the USA and Canadian consumer market, and developing regulatory strategies for aerosol volatile organic compounds and California Proposition 65 product assessment and compliance.

  • Communicated effectively with policy stakeholders in chemical safety, testing, and product safety subjects.

  • Modeled a research and development database to facilitate chemical information based on performance and compliance
  • Collaborated in building a chemical database to streamline procurement and product evaluation
Qualifications
  • Luisa has a background in environmental science. She has earned a Master of Science, in Environmental Policy from Purdue Global University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Bachelor of Arts in Earth Science from William Paterson University in New Jersey. 
  • Luisa has earned certificates in North American product labeling, TSCA essentials, classification & labeling of chemicals, and GHS Safety Data Sheet authoring.
