Kim Plassche, Senior Regulatory Content Specialist, Content Research & Development
Kim Plassche is a Senior Regulatory Content Specialist on the Content Research & Development team, specializing in international product safety legislation. With a strong focus on chemicals in products and environmental regulation, she stays at the forefront of the evolving regulatory landscape. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Master of Library Science, both from the University at Buffalo.
Before joining C&R, Kim gained extensive experience in university, public, and private libraries. She is also a published author, with articles and research contributions featured in peer-reviewed journals and academic texts. Additionally, Kim has significant experience in the consumer products testing industry, and has provided research and technical support for both internal testing teams and external clients.


Cassie Pershyn, MLS, Senior Regulatory Content Specialist, Content Research & Development
Cassie brings 16 years of regulatory research experience to her role as a Senior Regulatory Content Specialist, where she helps shape and maintain the global compliance information that clients rely on every day. Trained as a librarian, she has a passion for untangling complex regulations and turning them into meaningful, usable insights across the supply chain.
Before joining C&R, Cassie supported industry professionals through her work in the information center of a major product testing lab and spent several years working in university libraries, where she developed a strong foundation in research strategy and knowledge management. Based in the Buffalo NY area, she currently focuses on product labeling, chemical restrictions, and contributing to the development of ASTM standards.


Kerri Whelan, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Compliance & Risks
Kerri is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at C&R, serving as the strategic bridge between customer reality and product development. She goes beyond defining what a product does to deeply understand why it matters, uncovering real customer challenges and advocating for them inside the organization. Partnering closely with product and engineering teams, she ensures innovation is grounded in real-world needs, translating complex technology into clear, meaningful value.
With more than two decades in technology including experience from the early days of videoconferencing at Polycom and Logitech, and more recently in the EV charging space, her focus is consistent: when a product reaches customers, its value isn’t a marketing promise, but an unmistakable solution to a real problem.
