EU Omnibus Simplification Agenda: Key Regulatory Changes for Manufacturers
Webinar Overview
In 2025 and 2026, the EU is rolling out a series of “omnibus” legislative packages aimed at simplifying, aligning, and updating a wide range of regulatory frameworks. Framed as part of a broader effort to support EU competitiveness, this simplification agenda impacts both:
- Recently adopted rules, including the CSRD and CSDDD, which have only just begun to take effect
- Long-standing requirements, increasingly criticised as overly complex or bureaucratic
While many of these changes are designed to reduce complexity over time, they can also create significant short-term uncertainty for manufacturing companies operating in, or trading with, the EU – making ongoing monitoring and adaptation essential.
In this session, we’ll connect the dots between the different omnibus initiatives and place them in their broader policy context. The webinar is relevant for manufacturers across all sectors – including textiles, electronics, automotive, and medical devices – and for teams spanning legal, sustainability, IT, and operations.
Webinar Agenda
We will examine the key omnibus packages that have been proposed or finalized, covering:
- Omnibus I: CSRD, CSDDD, Taxonomy and CBAM
- Omnibus IV: Batteries, Digitization, GDPR and further simplifications for SMEs
- Omnibus VI: Chemicals and Cosmetics
- Omnibus VII: Digital Simplification Package
- Omnibus VIII: Environmental Legislation Package
Date
This webinar will take place on Wednesday, 11th February, 2026 at 08:00 PDT, 11:00 EDT, 17:00 CET.
