Apr 17, 2019 ECD Compliance Joins Compliance & Risks Knowledge Partner Network

ECDcompliance logo-high resCompliance & Risks today announced that ECD Compliance has joined their global Knowledge Partner Network. Led by Walter Jager, the company assists product manufacturers and suppliers to achieve environmental compliance and product declarations for global markets. Combining Compliance & Risks’ wealth of experience in global regulatory monitoring and management with ECD Compliance’s expertise in  environmental Standards as well as implementing RoHS, REACH, Ecodesign and Ecolabeling requirements, this partnership will provide valuable support in helping organizations to manage the growing challenges of product compliance.

Commenting on the announcement, Walter Jager, Founder and Principal Consultant of ECD Compliance said, “We’re looking forward to partnering with Compliance & Risks by bringing our experience with International environmental standards, compliance processes, and ecolabels to their extensive library of information and services to assist manufacturers and suppliers with global product compliance.”

Damien McGovern, Founder and Director of Strategy at Compliance & Risks, also commented, “The burden on companies to stay on top of their compliance requirements continues to rise. Global and national policies to combat Climate Change will become a major driver of increasing volumes of necessary regulation. We are delighted to partner with ECD Compliance to share in their expertise in complying with global environmental regulations, and navigating the challenges involved for product manufacturers and their supply chains.”

Complying with regulatory topics such as REACH, RoHS, Ecodesign and Ecolabeling are fundamental to many manufacturers to ensure they can get their products to market on time. Although these topics have been around for many years, the legislation surrounding them continues to evolve, and as new markets mature, governments are recognising the need to introduce their own country-specific versions of these regulations.  As they are never static, manufacturers must ensure they are working with the right companies to support their monitoring, assessment and compliance needs.
